Abstract

The term industry 4.0 has been widely used as a symbol of the fourth industrial revolution, and in this context, the adequacy of companies to the set of digital technologies has become a meaning of competitiveness or leadership maintenance, with research, development, and innovation as the basic prerequisite for the company or its partners to materialize the cited improvement. In this scenario, measuring the maturity of companies is the main requirement for establishing strategies for the digital advancement of industry in the form of private actions or government public policies. With the purpose to obtain the state-of-the-art regarding the measurement of maturity under the metrics of industry 4.0 and its relation with innovation, this work used the Knowledge Development Process - Constructivist (ProKnow-C) tool, which enabled the construction of a bibliographic portfolio composed of 27 papers published in Journals and 4 publications of actors involved in the industry digital transformation. Although the richness of the selected literature concerning maturity models, it was acknowledged a scientific gap concerning its relationship with innovation investments involving tax benefits from the government, which is one of the main objectives of this work.
