Abstract

This paper aims to present the methods that can be used by the Public Administration to encourage the use of renewable energy sources by the market and by civil society, in order to implement the guidelines of the 2030 Agenda. The specific objective is to reach energy self-consumers. electricity - prosumers - through public policies that enable behavioral change. To this end, behavioral economics has influenced the development of public policies capable of encouraging consumers and the market to use renewable energy sources. The scope of the research is the use of new technologies applied to the production of renewable energies, with an emphasis on photovoltaic energies and the position of prosumers in this context. The methodology used is bibliographic research, use of data from official sources, in addition to the analysis of current public policies in Brazil on the subject.
