Data from the notices of infringements made available by the transparency portal on the IPAAM website were used, describing the crimes that occurred in maps acquired by the IBGE website. Among the years evaluated, 2016 was highlighted with the highest occurrence of environmental crime. It was verified the fragility in the preservation compliance of this area of protection, evidencing the need for a more rigid inspection and control by environmental agencies.
