Active Learning with Experiment Whole Numbers in Fifth Grade of Elementary School

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of student activity and student learning outcomes in active learning by experimenting with whole numbers in fifth grade elementary school. The subjects in the study were fifth grade students of SD N 173189 Sosorpahu Kec. Sipahutar Taput for the academic year 2020/2021, while the objects of research were student activities and student learning outcomes as a result of active learning by experimenting with whole numbers. This type of research is descriptive research which aims to describe how student activities and learning outcomes achieved by students in active learning. by experimenting with whole numbers. The instruments used in this study were student activity observation sheets and student learning outcomes tests in the form of descriptions. The data taken are student activity data obtained from observations made by two observers, and student learning outcomes obtained from learning outcomes tests. From the analysis of the research data, it was found that: The level of student activity in the first learning was 75.71 (active) with an average level of student activity reliability of 82.62% (high), and the level of student activity in the second learning was 88.62 (active). with the average level of student activity reliability of 84.61% (high); Active learning with experiments on whole numbers in class V SD N 173189 Sosorpahu Kec. Sipahutar Taput Academic Year 2020/2021, the achievements have been completed with the following details: (a) The level of classical student mastery is 77.02% classified as moderate, (b) ) The absorption of individual students was obtained by 31 people from 29 students or 93.55% of many subjects had completed learning, meaning classically had been completed, (c) The achievement of specific learning objectives was completely achieved.
