Abstract

Business logistics encompasses activities such as planning, executing and controlling the flow of products, information and resources, from the supplier to the final customer. It is important to reduce operating costs, improve efficiency, optimize transport routes, avoid product shortages and improve customer service. It also increases the visibility of the company and allows for better monitoring and control of processes. The objective of this article is to present the main concepts of business logistics and their importance for companies, through a qualitative, written approach. Business logistics plays a key role in the success of organizations, providing operational cost reduction, improved customer service and increased company visibility. By understanding and applying the main concepts of business logistics, companies can strategically position themselves in the market and obtain significant competitive advantages.
